Stay-or-leave en site selection bpost bank
Staying was also an option, but the lease in the Brouckère tower came to an end in November 2014 and research into a better adapted working environment was urgent. To leave nothing to chance, bpost bank awarded this "stay or leave" study assignment to Freestone.
reestone not only had to take into account budget neutrality, the new location also had to be within five minutes walking distance of the bpost headquarters opposite the Muntschouwburg. Therefore, it was only possible to choose between three buildings. Finally, the completely renovated Marquis building located between the central station and the St. Gudula cathedral was choosen as the best possible option.

Future-oriented, modular design
After three months of analysis (needs analysis, stay or leave business case, market exploration and thorough comparison of all options) and a month of negotiating the new lease contract, the actual layout was discussed. Due to the modular layout, the necessary flexibility was guaranteed for the expected growth.
The move made it possible to reduce the number of cabinets by 30%. At the beginning of July 2014, bpost bank moved into the building. In 2014, the Marquis building accommodated 260 workplaces on a single level. Today there are workplaces for the 220 FTEs and around 20 external IT employees. Everything was prepared to enable a rapid switch to the new way of working in the long term, with flexible use of the available workplaces.
