All locations involved were subsequently analyzed from a spatial, technical and contractual point of view.

  • The location of the premises was then examined spatially. This involved subjecting the rental price for the region to detailed benchmarking and comparing it with the rental price currently paid. In order to carry this out correctly, Freestone is able to call upon a large database containing more than 4,000 reference points throughout Belgium.
  • The office was examined in detail from a technical standpoint. This involved checking whether the m² rented is seeing optimum use. The surface area is “weighted” on the basis of the first daylight zone, floor number and useful space, which is reflected in the price.
  • As per the contract, Freestone entered into discussions with the owner to adapt the current conditions to the market standard as far as possible, based on its analysis and benchmarking (“facts and figures”).
